I’ll be teaching a new workshop at The Loft Literary Center this fall called ” Scene + Structure = Story: A Plotting Technique for Advanced Novelists.” Though the workshop title is pretty self-explanatory – hey, here’s a plotting technique advanced novelists might use for their next novel! – a more detailed class description is available at The Loft’s website.
I’d love to see you there!
Touch base with Tamara at the RT Booklovers Convention! (May 13-18, 2014 in New Orleans)
Are you going to RT? I am, and I’d love to meet you! My scheduled events are:
Thurs. May 15, 8:30 a.m. – The Cajun Queen Riverboat Casino Morning Mixer
Thurs. May 15, 2:45 p.m. – What to Expect When You’re Expecting Your First (or 50th) Indie Book
Friday May 16, 1:30 p.m. – The Ruby Slipper Burlesque Revue!
Saturday May 17, 11:00 a.m. – The Giant Book Fair!
When you think about Kansas City, you think about 1) barbecue, and 2) jazz. God knows I’ll be sampling some of the first with friends, but the second is on the agenda as well. I’m part of a group hosting a free jazz breakfast for attendees on Friday morning, May 3. Swing by for food, fountains, mimosas, SWAG, a chance to win some awesome raffle baskets, and also talk to some of your favorite (or soon-to-be favorite!) authors!
I’ll also be signing TASTE ME and CHASE ME at the author book signing on Saturday, May 4.
Hope to see you there!
